Simmer Privacy Policy
Simmer: Visual Timer, made by SuperRad ยท Last updated October 23, 2026
Simmer is a countdown timer. It doesn't have accounts, doesn't connect to our servers, and doesn't collect any information about you. We don't sell data, show ads, or track you across apps or websites.
What stays on your devices
- Your settings. Timer lengths, saved timers, colors, dial style and alarm choices are stored on your iPhone.
- Your voice message. If you record one to use as the alarm, the recording is saved on your iPhone and played only by your iPhone. It is never uploaded. Recording needs microphone access, which Simmer asks for only when you tap Record.
- Apple Watch. The Watch app talks directly to Simmer on your iPhone to show the countdown and send pause, repeat and stop. Nothing passes through us.
- Alarms and notifications. Simmer schedules its alarm with iOS on your device. If you allow notifications, they are created on the device too.
Purchases
Simmer Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and Simmer checks your subscription with Apple on your device. We never see your payment details or Apple ID.
Children
Families use Simmer with children, often as a timeout timer. Because Simmer collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Deleting your data
Deleting Simmer from your iPhone and Apple Watch removes everything it stored, including any voice recording. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; you can cancel it in Settings โ Apple ID โ Subscriptions.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
